Links for le weekend

Hey all! Hope you’ve had a lovely week! We’re back to summer around here, l’ete indien, but I’m still feeling like fall, so we’re getting some plans together for the long weekends coming up in November and looking for a quick drive to visit a new place. Dijon is so well situated that we are just about 4 hours from Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy! Time to get in the car and get going! I’m thinking first up will be a short 3 hour drive to Geneva for a November weekend. Any Geneva or Switzerland tips? I’d love to hear your suggestions!

Here are a few great links to indulge in this weekend…

We havent got pumpkin spice in Dijon, so my heart skipped a beat when i found this recipe for homemade sugar-free pumpkin spice syrup. I’ve already bought the pumpkin for my puree!

I want to take a pic like this at the Louvre.

Totally digging this surprisingly easy and elegant Halloween bat cake.

If you want more than Instagram to spice up your pics this season, Rue’s Favorite Photo Apps are calling your name.

With so many old chateaus hidden in tiny villages around Dijon, can’t help but fall for this story about a modern princess saving her castle.

And a few other posts chez A Beautiful Journey…

Visiting a teeny village and a crumbling old castle in Malain, Burgundy.

Almond croissants…the perfect match for a pumpkin spice latte!

Off for the weekend? These are my travel day essentials!

Thanks sooo much for reading! And, don’t forget to leave me your thoughts, comments, and Switzerland tips!

Bon week-end!

besos, Dianne
